Dear St. Jude Parish Family,

It is with great sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Jami Bailey, our beloved school office manager, who passed away Wednesday evening while awaiting a liver transplant.

Jami’s passing has left our school community grieving. The Diocese of Wichita Crisis Team will be at our school to provide support and counseling for students who may need assistance processing this loss.

I ask our entire parish family to please keep Jami and her loved ones in your prayers, especially her family as they grieve this tremendous loss. Please also remember our St. Jude students, faculty, and staff, who are mourning the loss of a beloved member of our school family.

May we surround one another with compassion, patience, and love as we grieve together.

Eternal rest grant unto Jami, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
